Description

This is for :iconraimowola:. she said wow wasn't the biggest known mmorpg.

:+fav: if you found it useful/liked it. It's much appreciated.

Only blizzard may alter/use the characters that are labelled as mine, because I am only renting them from blizzard and the design/gear/money/ideas don't belong to me. I pay good money to use them, so go make your own. thanks.

This gives stats that are good for your class, talent descriptions, and descriptions of the races, classes, etc. Also, I put Horde first out of habit, but in the Blizzard interface it's Alliance - Horde, not Horde - Alliance. Let it go. I'm not changing it now

There are 2 teams, 12 races, 10 classes each with 3 talent trees.
:iconuparrowplz:This is the short version.

:icondownarrowplz: This is the long version.

FOR THE HORDE!

IN ORDER BLIZZARD PROVIDES/AS EXPANSIONS UNLOCK MORE RACES I WILL ADD THEM.

Orc; Their full history, as well as notable/famous Orcs; As Blizzard describes them, "The orc race originated on the planet Draenor. A peaceful people with shamanic beliefs, they were enslaved by the Burning Legion and forced into war with the humans of Azeroth. Although it took many years, the orcs finally escaped the demons' corruption and won their freedom. To this day they fight for honor in an alien world that hates and reviles them."

Undead; Their full history, as well as notable/famous Undead; As Blizzard describes them, "Free of the Lich King's grasp, the Forsaken seek to overthrow his rule. Led by the banshee Sylvanas, they hunger for vengance against the Scourge. Humans, too, have become the enemy, relentless ub their drive to purge all undead from the land. The Forsaken care little for their allies; to them the Horde is merely a tool that may further their dark schemes."

Tauren; Their full history, as well as notable/famous Tauren; As Blizzard describes them, "Always the tauren strive to preserve the balance of nature and heed the will of their Goddess, the Earth Mother. Recently attacked by muderous centaur, the tauren would have been wiped out, save for a chance encounter with the orcs, who helped defeat the interlopers. To honor this blood-debt, the tauren joined the horde, solidifying the two races' friendship.

Troll; Their full history, as well as notable/famous Trolls; As Blizzard describes them, "Once at home in the jungles of Stanglethorn Vale, the fierce trolls of the Darkspear tribe were pushed out by warring factions. Eventually the trolls befriended the orcish Horde, and Thrall, the orcs' young warchief, convinced the trolls to travel with him to Kalimdor. Though they still cling to their shadowy heritage, the Darkspear trolls hold a place of honor in the Horde.

Blood Elf; Their full history, as well as notable/famous Blood Elves; As Blizzard describes them, "Long ago the exiled high elves founded Quel'Thalas, where they created a magical fount called the Sunwell. Though they thought theu were strengthened by it's powers, they also grew increasingly dependant on them.
Ages Later the undead Scourge destroyed the Sunwell and most of the high elf population Now called Blood elves, these scattered refugees are rebuilding Quel'Thalas as they search for a new magic source to satisfy their painful addiction."

Goblin; Their full history, as well as notable/famous Goblins; As Blizzard describes them, "Orginally the slaves of jungle trolls on the Isle of Kezan, the goblin race was forced to mine Kaja'mite ore out of the Undermine, deep in the bowels of Mount Kajaro. Unbeknownst to anyone at the time, the mineral had magical properties that caused the goblins to rapidly increase in both cunning and intelligence. Tinkering their own powerful artifacts or engineering and alchemy in secret, the goblins overthrew their troll oppressors, taking over the island that they now call home. Quickly rising to prominence as masters of mercantilism, goblins and their global trade conglomerates dominate all commerce across Azeroth."

Now its builders are vagabonds in the dwarven lands, aiding their allies as best they can."

Some Basic descriptions/Vocabulary.

Tanking;

To tank, you need to be able to generate aggro, which is hold the bosses/enemies attention.

Caster

To be a Caster, you obviously CAST spells. Mainly ranged form of attack. Often has cast times, and relies on Mana to be able to cast spells.

Mana

Every class has their own form of "mana" which is the source of energy they are required to draw from to do special attacks. Some of it can regenerate with certain moves, other types are required to "gained" via attacking.

DPS

To DPS, or cause Damage-Per-Second, you attack the boss/enemies with your move set. You damage the enemy, while not being hit by them, if the tank, is well. Tanking.

Healers

Healers, heal.

HOTS/DOTS

Attack Power

If it were describing real life, it's how hard/much damage you cause when you hit. In WoW it's how much damage/how hard you hit.

Attack Power has been removed from game in Patch 4.0, to make the game more idiot friendly-I mean, noob friendly-I mean, new user friendly.

Duels

In WoW you can challange people of any level to a duel. In a duel you fight, until one of you has one hit point left. If that poor fellow is you, you lose. Duels don't effect experience gained, and can not be preformed inside of sanctuaries, or while in combat. (so kill on before challangeing another.) (;

Patches.

World of warcraft is an online game of MASS proportions. It'll have a few bugs. Bugs get reported by players as they experience them, and depending on the severity, a patch will occur ever tuesday as per usual, in which the servers or "realms" will go down, allowing them to fix the coding. If it's a serious problem affecting regular game play, not just a certain part of the "world" then a hotfix will occur in which, the night after the problem is apparent, they close down servers, and begin repair. They've gotten much faster at the fix of coding etc. and can stay on schedule almost all the time, unless the problem is hidden somewhere/coming from an external place.
